93.9 what are the call numbers? my car radio is programed. WBGO, WKCR, 1010WINS… there’s a classical Public Radio station i check out sometimes… i don’t think there’s an oldies station anymore (a shame!) and that’s about it. sometimes, when i’m feeling dark and cold and alone: i put on Hot97 — and i don’t feel so bad. but not for the reasons you might think.

Do you also listen to 93.9? I like to get my news from NPR in the a.m. I’m so glad that you’re also a late-night 88.3 listener, it’s the only thing that keeps one sane when searching for parking in Brooklyn.

No Akie. No feigning. Unfortunately this is a dis-ease I (and many other people) share, in all the world’s unsettledness. And if anyone knows distance and unsettledness so intimately…it is I.

But then again, all dis-ease is uniquely our own. Inimitably, ineffably immersed in subjectivity. Can we even ever share easings?

But you articulate it so….well, this the inchoate mess. And thusly we hate to…enjoy…your words, for fear of re-minding that gap. Stirring up dust and dischord.

But I don’t know the Sun Ra reference. Barely heard Sun Ra in fact. Care to share that?

So with nothing “widely scoped” or grandiose–even in our parsed/unwieldy perspectives–”everything holds”. Is that so? HOlds itself? Holds us? Both (since we are the stuff, stuff subjected to subjectivity)?
